Everything went well with the labor, considering she was nearly 3 weeks early. She was determined to come into this world, and she wasn't going to wait for anyone...
She is adjusting well to this new world of hers, which includes having to deal with a very active and curious big brother. Ethan is adjusting well to having Brynlee around; what he is struggling with now is the fact that his mommy and daddy have to share their attention with him and his baby sister. (Which he calls baby "b"). But he loves to take care of her and help mommy.
I have been feeling so overwhelmed with gratitude for these miracles that our Heavenly Father has given to us. Both Ethan and Brynlee are/were wonderful babies. They are such a joy to me. I tear up every time Ethan goes to kiss his sister. What a bond already. I hope it lasts.
I can't help but count my many blessings that the Lord sees me fit to be the mother of these two precious children. What a responsibility and yet; what pure joy.
